On 12th January 2016 the only Internet Explorer browser that will be supported and receive updates is the latest one, what about this?
This means that only the most current version of Internet Explorer on your Windows platform is supported and updated with security updates. So if you are a customer using Internet Explorer 8, Internet Explorer 9, or Internet Explorer 10 on Windows 7 SP1 you should migrate to Internet Explorer 11 or upgrade to Windows 10 as soon as possible.
There are some exceptions on some platforms, this is a list of what is supported after January 12th

3. Internet Explorer Developer Center – The MSDN developer site includes resources related to application development for Internet Explorer.
4. Microsoft Assessment and Planning (MAP) Toolkit – This is an agentless inventory and planning tool that can assess your current browser install base.
